Definition List

Semoyed

Pronounced Se-moy'-ed. A medium to large dog originally bread for sledding. This dog has long arctic white fur. This friendly dog makes a wonderful playmate for older children, but is also very gentle with young children.

Newfoundland

Pronounced New'-fin-land. Playfully referred to as "Newfies" this large dogs grow to approximately 145 pounds. While this dog's mammoth head could look intimidating at first glance it only takes a second to realize this is a gentle giant. This is an excellent breed for children.
